I am an architect in practice as a sole proprietor since 1997. My practice focuses in particular on remodeling of existing houses.

When I began this adventure I was working for a large engineering company designing manufacturing facilities for the semiconductor industry. From that experience I had learned a considerable amount about the design-build approach to project delivery and the application of advanced building technology to a very specific building type. The work I have been doing in my own practice has focused on advances in the area of building technology in the housing industry and the use of a collaborative approach to design residential projects

Many of our clients request a look to our projects that “fits in” with the existing setting where they are living and so our design proposals often make use of conventional forms while using carefully considered detailing to make the project unique to its particular situation. All our projects are designed with daylighting and energy conservation in mind. Some actively explore passive solar approaches as well as alternative energy sources and technology.

I am interested in working with innovative and environmentally friendly building practices. Above all I am interested in providing a home that is the best we can design for each and every client we work with.
